Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player,
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,
And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.

Tempest this, Macbeth next? What have i done to deserve this?

2019 Shakespeare is The Merchant Of Venice.

I have it on good authority that next year is going to be a different experience up at the Castle.

Possibly, but not confirmed, different seating arrangement, more foodie options.

Fantastic ideas are being put forward but we have to wait and see.

Merchant of Venice is one of my favourites and in 9 years of living here I’ve never made it to Shakespeare at the castle - will have to make a special effort!
