The idea of tracking every vehicle at all times is sinister and wrong. Road pricing is already here with the high level of taxation on fuel. The more you travel - the more tax you pay.

It will be an unfair tax on those who live apart from families and poorer people who will not be able to afford the high monthly costs.

Please Mr Blair - forget about road pricing and concentrate on improving our roads to reduce congestion.

when i signed it this morning, there were 237,523 signatures.. now there are 245,974.. that's over 8000 signatures in a couple of hours, so it really is worth doing..

I haven't as of yet, what does this mean? Are we to pay tax on top of road and fuel tax? I'm all for signing against anything the Blair Witch proposes nowadays.

yeah.. the government are proposing that all cars are fitted with GPS devices, and that tracking is mandatory so they can charge you per mile..

so not only do you get rinsed just for driving your car, but The Man knows where you are at all times..

damn all those hippies who voted labour in :grr:

I'm all signed up, to be honest I only do about 4,000 miles a year, but, if I wanted to live in North Korea, I'd move there!
