Eye watering. Asked for a pint of Haka and a gin and slimline last night. 10.90. Ouch
I don't recall the Haka being too expensive but I honestly can't remember the prices I've paid because this is usually my last point of call whilst waiting for a bus.
I only call in as part of my effort to sustain small businesses In town you understand?
Last port of call for us too. Wouldn't have noted it if I had paid with 20.
Reggae night tomorrow, apparently.
Perrin or Hollis?
From next month you won't be able to pick up any Totty in 'Slater's'.
pint of soft drink still £4.35?
Don't we all
That the now female dominated ( ooh i say ) CAMRA committee said that Top Totty would no longer be accepted into any competitons
Hence this utter bollox
Utter Bollox is also available in bottles
And kindly sponsored by @basil.
We were going to go here for a couple of pints this lunchtime.
However, my drinking partner saw this sign in their window...
... and said sod them if they've got that attitude.
So we went to the Bird in Hand instead.
I...don’t get it.
Neither will anyone else who voted for it
Surely it should be demand something but very vaguely then get upset when you aren't served what you expected?
Try this one instead:
Imagine there's a group of you drinking in Slater's Bar and you narrowly vote to leave on the basis that some of your group claim that you'll save £350 on a round if you do. Three hours later, your still in Slater's, holding a series of indicative votes as to where to go next.
