I have 2 almost new solar pool covers to fit 8ft quick set pools. Would even suit up to a 10ft but just not work quite as effectively. These are the blue bubble-wrap type covers that float on the water surface when the pool isn't in use. On a sunny day you could easily gain up to 7 or 8 degrees water temperature on these shallow pools by mid afternoon.
My larger pool cover degraded and I bought 2 of these as a very temporary measure. They usually retail at £12 in The Range, but I got them at just £3 each when they were selling off. I still have the zip up bags to keep them fresh for next year.
