Spittal Brook.

Enjoying a drop of red.
The old regime didn't last very long - not surprised.

I will give it a go now.
Been caught out by this place too many times to go in just yet. Whilst clearly the picture gives a more favourable image than the previous I don't know how many landlords attitude of 'you're not a local so fcuk off', I'll await positive feedback on here before going.

I'll have you know that "Cornish" Pete was "all welcoming" as long as you weren't french.

Always a cheery smile for one and all (well almost one and all)

:)

I've had my doubts about this place, it's often referred to as "The Spittle Brook" on here. I worry about what I might step in.

I went to the Spittal Brook for the 1st time in about 10 years on Thursday. The best compliment I can give this place is that it was as good as it used to be, if not slightly better.

Welcome back Spittal Brook you've been missed. A quality boozer back in Stafford.

Brings back memories quiz night with great mates who lived nearby

Great quiz nights with Cornwall Pete in the chair, shame about the dickhead(s) who couldn't answer a single question and were more interested in the loser's chocolate and free food bringing the rest of the team down, eh?
