I knew of the existence of the doc but had never seen it - had rather hoped that someone else somewhere might have uploaded it but there was nada.

Yes, i managed to get hold of a copy on VHS - from the BBC themselves as it happens - and took it from there. It was not without its moments of pain as i, naturally, cocked part of it up - multiple, and entirely accidental, copyright infringements, that sort of thing.
