Jam packed with free led walks across the borough
The Stafford Borough Walking Festival is an annual celebration of walking. The event is jam packed with opportunities to join led walks with experts on history, nature and local points of interest within Stafford Borough. There are opportunities to explore both urban and rural spaces discovering what is on your doorstep, it is also a great environment to meet new people.
This year's festival is held 2 - 10 May 2015 and promises something for everyone. Join the fairy hunt in Victoria Park, try Nordic walking, hear about the history of Stafford on the town tour or fancy something a little different try water walking. Explore the great outdoors with the Stone and Mid Staffs Ramblers, if you are up with the lark why not walk the dawn chorus or if you are a night owl why not join the bat walk.
