Didn't go last year but was supposed to be good and it has been promised to be bigger and better this year.
Also The Swan has a marquee with a beer festival and bands on that weekend as well. Just needs some decent weather!

Went along earlier plenty of choice, ended up buying some curry sauces, cheese and chutneys as it was a bit too early for me for a tipple or two so gave the beers a miss this time.

Did a cheese run first thing this morning and stocked up with 4 or 5 months supply .

Went on my lunch break. Word of advice, try the chilli cheeses last or you won't taste a lot of the other stuff! Blew about £35 in 30 mins, now have cheese, cider and some meat stick things for tonight

Yes, maybe the organisers could look at extending the Friday session into the evening as those sellers/demonstrators attending for both days are going to be in town.

Recently moved to Stafford so my first Cheese & Ale Festval. The wife & I enjoyed it, old Jean-Chrisophe had a 'mare on his 11am show though. Burnt his caramel for the first dish he cooked & then his assistant had accidentally turned the oven off so he couldn't finish the stuffed chicken leg he was doing as his 2nd!
