Went along earlier plenty of choice, ended up buying some curry sauces, cheese and chutneys as it was a bit too early for me for a tipple or two so gave the beers a miss this time. :ohno:

Oh, thought it was Saturday and Sunday for some reason. Means I can get some cider for Friday night though :D

Did a cheese run first thing this morning and stocked up with 4 or 5 months supply :).

So that's the cheese part completed. Next is the :pint:.

Just watched a cooking demo by one of the college staff, very good. Shame all courses are in the day really, would be up for one but work 9-5 :(

Yes, maybe the organisers could look at extending the Friday session into the evening as those sellers/demonstrators attending for both days are going to be in town.

Recently moved to Stafford so my first Cheese & Ale Festval. The wife & I enjoyed it, old Jean-Chrisophe had a 'mare on his 11am show though. Burnt his caramel for the first dish he cooked & then his assistant had accidentally turned the oven off so he couldn't finish the stuffed chicken leg he was doing as his 2nd!
