I didn't know until today, but we now have a special unit just for children at Stafford (County) Hospital.
The entrance is right next to normal A & E, through a long tunnel....it seems to act as a A & E for children, but I think some children had appointments too...
Staff were friendly & efficient, & we were seen quite quickly - 3hrs total from admission, triage, xray, diagnosis & then mastering of daughters broken arm...
Can't find much info about it except for it opened in May & this....
