Oh right! Dammit, if only this forum had been around when I was at work and had nothing to do. Now I look at it as a guilty pleasure. Pah.

Oh yes so it has my apologies. Wilkinsons reminds me of Stafford for some reason.
no need to apologise - i asked people for their personal stafford icons, so if she's one of yours she rightly deserves a spot in this thread :)

No, well, I was in the shop and I got a small steak pie because I was passing (as you do). And then I happened to drink a fairly sizable quantity of vodka and another one seemed like the right thing to do. I would definately recommend it for an after drinking snack.

For some reason it's dead easy to rationalise eating a pie at any time of the day, whereas if we were talking about burgers that would be a whole new story.

08.30: Leave for work. Drop into Sainsbury's for a pie. Eat pie.

13.15: Stomach grumbles. Pie beckons. McGregor's time. Eat pie.

17.00: Finish work. Go to Sainsbury's to do some shopping. Buy nice things for tea, and a pie for 'in the meantime'. Eat half pie, put rest in fridge for later.

19.30: Eat dinner.

23.00: As pointed out by Noir, consumption of alcohol and other intoxicants can make pies essential. Eat other half of pie from fridge. Sleep.

07.30: Wake up and repeat previous day.

Whilst I am enjoying this pie-atribe as much as anyone else, might I ask that you take any pie based discussion to the aforementioned pie thread? Let's keep this particular thread on-topic, eh? :v:

i haven't been, but i know someone who used to work there.. in fact, i know a couple of people who used to work there - one behind the bar, and one who was a dancer.. apparently it's nice enough, as gentleman's clubs go..

i've never actually been to a lappy bar in my entire life, which most people find astounding lol..

Remember when they used to do happy hour Mondays - Wednesdays? £1.40 for a treble of any spirits. Then they put it up to £1.50, which was a bit steep.
