Unfortunately, I am unable to offer any discounts or freebies - if it was my theatre it would all be different... Have a nosey at the flyer.

Also, don't miss the Christmas lights being switched on this Saturday at 5pm in Back to the Future Square! I will put more details in out and about later!

Back to the Future Square
lol i've never thought of that before - brilliant! i wonder if anyone has ever tried to recreate that scene in our beloved square? maybe using a souped up Nova instead of a Delorean? safe..

The Wood?
The Wildwood? Perhaps.

Currently my local, even if it is a 45min walk. A splendid pint. In fact I haven't had a better pint in a public house for sometime.

Just a pity the Magners is a bit pricey and they don't sell Erdinger.

LISTEN UP PARTY PEOPLE!

The official Forum Xmas Party is on Friday 29th December! This is usually an event-free date, lying, as it does, neatly between Xmas and New Year.

TENSHON and RICHIE RICH - will the Sun Inn be fully operational by that time? If so, that is to be the venue. If not, the Railway.

Any questions?

as the sun aint happening, i know some people have been saying the 1st OFFICIAL STAFFORD FORUM PARTY is happening, but other than the date mentioned by sofa above, no one seems to have organised owt, or let any of the forum members know. as this will surely be the greatest thing to happen on the forum, can we get this sorted?
i dont mind taking the mantle on this one and make sure everyone knows bout it, but
a) is pie fest going to be the same day and is it even possible?
b) the railway has been bandied about as the most suitable venue, which it probably is, but is this for deffo and do we need to let jamie know that at least 30 fools will be descending on his pub. more importantly will he put on food/booze reduction.
c)does anyone else have any other thangs we can do to make the whole thing more rosy. ie name badges, idiocy etc...:eng101:

Railway and the 29th all sounds good to me Rich. Sure Jamie won't mind that many people in his pub either!!

Jamie will be more than happy to have a pub full, but we have to remember it's a Friday night so it's rather unlikely that we'll be able to have a section specifically for us. This means that we will be spread all over the place. I can almost guarantee that there will be no price reductions on booze etc...they're used to catering for large groups (rugby teams etc), and they don't get any special discounts. We may have to find a venue where we have a particular section to ourselves, but i'm fresh out of ideas :ohno:

D'oh! I can't believe I didn't think of that. It's much more suitable than the Railway, and they could do with the business more than the Railway. On a slightly different topic, The Lamb now have a new chef, and a new menu! :munch:
