Stafford local legends - You had some characters!

They were in the background on one of the innumerable CCTV crime programmes on the telly recently, where some bloke was getting arrested outside Asda.
You mentioned at the time that they were on there , but couldn't make out which ones they were. Think I've deleted it off now.

Just hover round Dave's stall on the Market - they'll be along shortly - although, Dave has chickenpox at the moment.

Or, preferably, don't hover round it - with your noted effect on retail premises in mind.....

Saw that programme, know who they are now, (not that I saw them on that programme) they often come in to 0xfam, short haired one seems to like vinyl and stamps, long haired one doesn't seem as interested in buying things

The word "legend" is used too easily these days. However, there is one lady who has had an association with many many Staffordians and still continues to, purely because she cares. Over 35 Yeats ago I was diagnosed diabetic and was placed under the care of Dr Doreen Carlton, paediatrician at the SGI. I made an effort to keep in touch with one of the finest women I have ever known and to this day I still get a card and a letter every Christmas. After her retirement she then took up voluntary work at Katharine House and still does what she can to help there. I am sure there will be many who know her or were treated by her.

EDIT: Decided to delete this post. Found something a Steve Bhatia posted online that I was initially asking if we thought it was the same person, but it refers to mental health issues that I feel iffy about just posting up here for discussion.

My boss has Pampas Grass in her garden
Is it a lady garden? There will be questions in the House of Lords...

We have pampas grass in our front garden too. We didn't put it there, it was there when we bought the house. When we first moved in, we noticed that people walking past the house would often stop and stare at it. This went on for about six months, and we never did find out why.

I kept expecting someone to say, "Oh, so you live in the murder house ..."
