What a great night! Beating a team, from the division above, 3-0 and outplaying them was damn pleasing! To top that, we now have a relatively short trip to Stourbridge in the next round - Saturday October 5th. £11,250 in prize money so far and the chance of doubling that in the next round.
While we may be bottom of the league, last night made it five clean sheets in a row, so we are now building. Trips to Morpeth on Saturday and Atherton on Tuesday give us chance to start climbing the table.

Back on the business side, the plans for the new car park, entrance gates and turnstiles are now in hand and all will be done this side of Christmas. This makes it a smarter place and definitely more welcoming to anybody booking functions. The outside will soon look as smart as the inside!

All day at work, I have had a 'Dartmoor' in my throat; The Venerable Mrs Seed had a look, and reassured me, she found that I indeed did have a little horse down there! "You weren't singing all night at the football AGAIN, were you"?

The social club is one of many places staging a MacMillan Coffee morning, this Friday from 10 til 12, and there's a Soul Club on Saturday night from 8pm. Next Friday there is an evening with former United player, Lee Sharpe,

He was the answer to an odd pub quiz question - "Who is the only Premier League player to have had his name on the front and back of his shirt?"

Slight spelling issues excepted, of course...

Now relegated. Possibly to a few odd pages on the Internet Archive or vanished completely.

Anyone going to Stourbridge on Saturday? There is a cultural tour planned prior to the fa cup. Lots of fans leaving Stafford station from 9.45am onwards. I will be on the 11.10am.
