For those of you who were unable to be one of the 483 fans (although I suspect there was more than that) last night you have a second chance in a week to see your beloved rangers when we take on mickleover at marston road this Saturday. Mickleover finished 5th last season so it will be another tough test for the lads. Adults 9 pound, concessions 7 pound and kids under 12 are free (I think). Come on get yourself down there you will not regret it.

Bump!
Just bringing us back to the top.
Just over 4 weeks into the season and we have won 4 and lost 2 in the league and also won some prize money by winning our first game in the FA Cup. There as a feel good factor around the place and crowds are already up. In fact, the crowds coming through the gate for the first three games average over 500 and we had 684 for the Coalville game on Saturday. I think that shows that there still is a commu city that cares about the club and after the dark days of early Summer and the loss of Mike, we are strong again and starting to rebuild.
In fact, a fan has already put forward a suggestion to resurrect The Shed End in a new form. If that goes ahead the ground could the old atmosphere back, along with the crowds, and we may be well on the up again.
After a slow start, due to so many people being loaded with different jobs, a new commercial team is being assembled and sponsorship is starting to increase. That can be a bit of a no brainer when crowds are increasing as sponsors get increased exposure. Sponsorship is available from £40 for a programme ad up to £400 for a hospitality package for ten people including a three course meal.
If anybody is interested in any sponsorship or packages you can contact the club on 01785 602430 or commercial@staffordrangers.co.uk.
Let's get the community back together and get buzzing.

And now there going to believe us and now there going to believe us............................

Great result last night. Rangers put 6 goals past Kidsgrove, with Cope scoring his second hat trick of the season.

After the disappointing result on Saturday against a very good Coalville side in front of a VERY IMPRESSIVE crowd of 684 people. The majority of which were there to support Rangers, Neil Kitching wanted a response from his young players and he certainly got that. What a great game, and another great atmosphere created by almost 200 travelling Rangers Fans.

This Saturday see us take on Tividale in the Cup, be there or be square! Get there early to try and avoid the rush and enjoy a nice pint in the bar.

Ohhhh! The highs and the lows! Bright sstart, lots of feel good factor and loads of positivity while standing in 4th place in the league and could posssibly go top this Saturday - We went out of the FA Cup in a replay 0-4 at Tividale, on Tuesday, after drawing with them last weekend.
Back to the bread and butter of a promotion challenge with the possibilty of some new signings to boost the squad this weekend with another home league game against Stocksbridge Park Steels at 3pm. Bring yer friends!

A new group has been introduced, entitled Task & Finish, Headed by Graham Mitchell, Robert Simpson & Steve Cartwright - this will look into ground developments and fund raising. The aim to renovate parts of the Marston Road Stadium, including hopefully providing terracing and cover and reinstating the famous Shed End, is part of the bigger picture. Fund Raising is already under way and a number of people have donated to the "100 Club", where donations of £100 are helping us toward our first £10,000 target. Anybody interested in donations or additional sponsorship, please drop us a message on here, email FanRep@staffordrangersfc.co.uk or visit the Unofficial Forum, where there are updates and lots of chat.

Putting the atmosphere back into the place as well as providing a legacy that can be there long after many of us, being the aim.

Loads going on at the club and the team is doing OK too. The new ground project is gathering pace and £4000 has been raised in the first week and a bit. More fund raising projects including draws to win season tickets and the sale of Shedender t-shirts to boost the coffers. If anybody as an individual or a business is interested in investing or adding sponsorshup to the scheme, contact Mitch at newshedend@gmail.

Its been a while and a lot has gone on since last posting. The club has grown stronger on and off the pitch. The team is challenging for play offs, still in two cups and the squad is stronger. The crowds are up and there is more of a community feel and interest around the place is on the up.
This chap does some decent updates

We are at home this week against league leaders Sutton Coldfield and then comes another bog derby as we take on Brocton in the Walsall Senior Cup quarter final on Tuesday night. This should draw a lot of local interest!
