I have been told that this fixture is likely to be cancelled, a decision to be made on the morrow.

Would somebody be so kind as to tell me the best place to find out whether it's going ahead or not? Also, when is the decision to be made?

Looking at the long range forcats, this might be in doubt, but hopefully Chester will have installed some quality sheeting when they were a 'Bigger' club!

We did purchase some pitch covers but that was just after we reformed... the owners of the old "bigger" club were bleeding the club dry and the pitch covers they left us with were tat... wouldn't let your dog sleep on them.

Metcheck for Saturday is saying:

6:00 - 8:59 -2 °c
9:00 - 11:59 3 °c
12:00 - 14:59 4 °c
15:00 - 17:59 4 °c

So if that is accurate (unlikely) and as long as the pitch covers can keep the surface from freezing Friday night then should be ok.

Bugger! Had an interview Wed', heard yesterday, I hadn't got it, and promised myself if I got it, I would go! Never mind, should have gone to drown my sorrowes!

Well, the game was organised for a reply today; didn't go, thank god, we lost 3-1, so middle seedling will be full of gloom when he returns, hope he doesn't ruin seedling seniors birthday tea, he has come back from liverpool for, and his grandparents are visiting! Was an entertaining game according to Stafford FM.

Almost as if you were looking at of last weeks game in a mirror! Stafford played at Marston Road this week, it was 0.0 at half time (like last week), The home side obviously had proper half time tea! as they came out on fire, went 3.0 up, before the away team grabbed a consolation towards the end of the game! Great day, great performance, GOOD DAY!
