A very improtant win for the Boro this Saturday gone, we won one of our games in hand against the former league team Cambridge United, who had an expanding and ageing Dean Holdsworth in their ranks. (Used to play for Wimbledon and Bolton in the premiership, and had a reputation! ... http://wimbledon.rivals.net/default.asp?sid=900&p=2&stid=8004697)

They were below us in the League so an away win was crucial, we now are 14th and look able to survive in this league.

Keep your fingers (and toes) crossed for next Saturday when the boys travel to Rushden & Diamond (Who?) another team below us in the league, and another team who used to ply their trade in League Division 1.

Was indeed a vital and much needed win for the borough. It will be interesting to see how the pitch at fortress marston is looking on the 27th against morecombe. Hopefully the groundsmen have worked some miracles since we last played on it. Crap pitch = crap football, even at non league level!

Friendlies 1st; Walsall, Derby and West Brom, not a bad line up at all.

Blue Square Conference matches to be announced on 3rd of July I think.

We have yet to announce any signings for the forthcoming season, but most of the fans seem to trust in the esteemed Mr Robinson. See back page of the Snoozeletter.
