    Interesting mixed messages...

Stafford FM says - It has come to our attention that multiple media outlets are reporting that the Butlers Bell Wetherspoons is up for sale again.

These reports are inaccurate and Stafford FM can confirm that the pub is NOT on the market. We have spoken to the media team for JD Wetherspoon this morning on the matter.

Work didn't stall mid February, the work load increased due to issues found with the roof

    @Gareth
I do sometimes, on occasion, totally support what you are trying to convey, but you don’t make it easy.

@kyoto49 is correct, in that your post doesn’t make sense. (It’s hard to read, grammatically incorrect, wrong punctuation, incorrect spelling etc).

I’m no expert myself, but I’ve personally found that if you want to get a message across then proof read before you post to see if it makes sense.

It doesn’t matter if the Butler’s Bell or The Picture House reopened as none of us should ever visit either again as long as they are owned by Wetherspoons.

Why? Well remember what that multi-millionaire-worth-over-£320m twat Tim Martin did to his staff at the start of lockdown.

Lets hope Wetherspoons goes bust, sod the billions it adds to the economy. We can easily get the workforce doing something useful and tear down those redundant old buildings used.

I imagine a lot of them would just go it alone as the buildings are already kitted out as bars

Though hopefully without the bank of microwaves I’m the kitchen

That’s your choice obviously but I’d would advise you to listen to your wife :D

I have not used Wetherspoons for a few years now.

Lets hope the guy that owns it takes a large financial hit that makes him actually show a little respect to his staff, before this all blows over for whatever the Daily Heil decides is the next travesty.

On the same subject albeit nothing to do with pubs, shouldn’t everyone be boycotting the online retailer BooHoo/ Pretty Little Thing?

A billionaire clothing magnate, manufacturing clothes in a modern day slavery sweat shop paying workers between £2.50 to £4 an hour.
Making them go to work even if they are ill.
A culture of fear and intimidation.

People in their twenties are getting enraged about our history and toppling statues and then go on line and order something that’s probably been made by people living 10 to a room in Leicester, working a 15 hour day.

He refused to pay them himself and claim it back, like everyone else was doing, and instead wanted them to wait a month with nothing til the furlough scheme started paying out. He only backed down because he was scared it might affect his profits after lockdown ended.
