Lol, I was in town, I'm not 'moaning' just stating how it is!

In light of further evidence, perhaps 'whinge' would be more appropriate...

Mind you, every now and then, when the 'stars' align, there can be some pleasant 'rubbing' of the things...

My OHs went up massively, so she complained and they decided to leave it be.

Wish we had an old style hardware shop still. I need some thin plyboard, only a few mm thick and smaller than A4, but not even sure why I could by larger amounts.

You could look in Topps Trains on Marston Road on your way home - he may have something.

I'e just been given £500 to spend on a new camera in Peter Rodgers! That will help them. Also buying some boots in Stafford Outdoor Leisure. I'm like the Mill Street's personal financier!!!!

This is the reason there are so few hardware shops nowadays. Imagine the disappointment for a shop keeper when you come in looking for an A5 piece of 5mm plywood. "Bread and dripping for us again tonight Love"

Fair point but Bricky seems to do well enough at Burton Manor Square and provide the kind of service the modern places simply don't care about.

The modern places have modern customers - people who rarely make or fix things.
