Stafford shops opening - Turning into a boom town?

Work going on in the old Butter Knife café this afternoon. Hopefully whoever is taking it on isn't going to keep it as a café...

There's some hand painting on the window saying it's a 4D photography shop. I think it said something like "life through the lens".

Enjoying a drop of red.
As someone who deals a lot in various immersive and bleeding edge tech: “pardon?”
Drove past a few minutes ago on a 'mercy' mission and it's actually a shop that is going to specialise in 4D baby scans. Whatever the hell they are.

There are people out there that will scan your proto-kid and produce a life-size 3D model for you to amaze your friends with - if you have any left.

You could have a full set on the wall, in stages, like plaster ducks.

Ah, kid stuff, that explains why I have no knowledge of it.

As the fourth dimension is time you obviously get to see what it looks like when it's 37.

Where I work 4D means they’ll spray you with jets of water and air, and rumble your seat

Perhaps it's a new form of contraception where to you get to see what the kid looks like in advance and if you don't like what you see it puts you off.

I'm convinced that there's only one bit of 'footage' for 4D baby scans - on the basis they all look the same, and well, like babies - but it's a fast way to make money as a 'scan' is £50 - £70 quid.

(I can't prove this at all, they might be wonderful mementos but that seemed like a waste of money in my books)

I was invited to eldest son & his then wife's 4d scan, it was a long awaited for baby after a long time trying, it was very interesting and meant the world to us all.

Shame on you all for making something that's not easy for everyone seem so trivial.

Our town centre needs a lot more leisure facilities to diversify it and provide more reasons for visiting.

Stafford is very poorly served compared to other nearby centres, such as Telford and Tamworth.

It's OK on Tuesdays as long as you haven't mixed fabrics and your neighbour's ox remains uncoveted
