havent been on here for a while - so hello everybody.
Just thought i'd mention a bit of GREAT news, well i'm pleased -
take a look at this beauty;

http://iccannock.icnetwork.co.uk/
this is on the front page of the cannock post this week.
i'd just like to say that at the end of the article they have said we 'were unavailable for comment' which is bollocks...we havent heard hide nor hair from them....sloppy journalism indeed.
:bravo:

is it front page news of the paper edition?? if so, i can't imagine how much pride you're feeling right now lol

Fab. As they say "there's no such thing as bad publicity". As I hear it 8ball.co.uk have seen sales of the 'Cannock Chase' Tee soar in the last few days. And as always, Cannock are a little bit behind the times with their local news, in this instance 7/8 months behind.

I've thought for years that journalists just ring someone, let the phone ring once, put it down and then write, "So-and-so was unavailable for comment" just because it suits their hidden agenda.
Does that make me a cynical old goat?

I think there should be a new tee designed, taken from the quote:

“The Chase is one of our town’s prized jewels"

Answers on a postcard!

“Again we are being dragged into the gutter end of society and I can only say I am disgusted."

but Cannock already is the gutter end of society... :)

These T-Shirts look GREAT! Wish I'd been around when the whole thing kicked off.
Is there any way of hugely increasing the designs to include "Coton Fielders do it on the rec!", "I'm a dirty doxey dolly", "Havin' it is ACE on the CHASE" etc etc etc.? Then surely 8ball could come up with a great low price like £4 or £5 and someone could get selling them at the local booty???
I've never seen one being worn personally, but I think at the right price and the right place they could be HUGE! Obviously that in turn could really BIG UP the members database here at the forum

Or am i just getting all hyped up when you long timers have passed the excitement stage about the shirts?? :s lol

Someone had a 'Staffordshire, spooning with Derbyshire since 1897' (or something) at the festival yesterday. I figured it was a Stafford forum one but maybe not, could be you have a competitor, or is it an old design...

if you know a way to shift large quantities of t-shirts, i'm sure rich upsetter would love to hear it! he's been doing a fair old trade in them, but of course there's always scope to sell more :D

yeah, i'm pretty sure that was one of TENSHON's original designs, but i can't find it on the website anywhere :strange:

perhaps it was one of the founders that you saw, with access to exclusive designs!

My sig line would make a good t-shirt, especially if it was accompanied by a pic of a terrace of wonky houses :)
Lol you're not wrong. I recently had lots of work done on my lounge, including exposing the original fireplace which had been partially blocked up by a horrible 60's tiled hearth...underneath all the wood chip and plaster was a lovely 19th century chimney breast, which has obviously suffered over the years!
