I was informed of this situation by a very disgruntled Aston Villa supporter......

I love the way they (rail companies) are advising everyone to use the Birmingham - London Marylebone service instead and then they (London Transport) close the underground line through Marylebone for the weekend. #coordinatedcockup

This particular disgruntled Holte Ender bent my lughole bemoaning the unorthodox journey needed to arrive in Ipswich tomorrow by 11am, game kick off being 3pm.

Five minutes in I had doused myself in petrol and was frantically looking for a box of matches !........

I think he will find if he heads to the Greatrex garage on Newport Road about 09.30 on Sat he'll be able to catch a Villians bus to Ipswich for the match, £2.50 return. Oh no that was 25 odd years ago.

Or failing that he can go on the 08.55 train change at Nuneaton and Peterborough and arrive at Ipswich at 13.28.

He can then get the 17.58 changing at Ely and New Street and be back in Stafford at 22.27.
