One may wish to avoid Stone centre this afternoon as there's an invisible man ( or woman ) throwing tiles onto Radford Street

Too many people out there who think they are more important than anybody else and take risks that put others at danger.
Sat at the Gaol Square lights tonight, waiting to procede towards Chell Road and the lights start to change, for me, but 6 cars ran the red light coming from Queensway to go to the Stone Road.
If that is how it will be in the next 24 hours, I fear for the safety of people. Absolute idiots!

Dear Customer

On Thursday 20th September, Storm Bronagh deposited around two weeks of rainfall on Staffordshire.

This caused degradation of the hard shoulder of the M6 between Junctions 14 and 15 of the M6. Between these junctions, the hard shoulder is carrying live traffic whilst we upgrade the central reserve barrier.

In order to minimise any further damage we closed the affected lane and its adjacent lane overnight in both directions on Friday 21st September. We did not divert traffic off the motorway on this night.

To minimise any further disruption, we repaired the damaged surface during the overnight closure on 22nd September, whilst we also dismantled Creswell Home Farm bridge. Both operations were successfully completed and we will reopen the M6 in both directions by 7 AM.

Fair play to the people working on the bridge removal, it's been done bar a few pillars and the M6 is now re-open between j14&15...

@c0tt0nt0p it was an unexpected but pleasant surprise, they gave set the bar & I hope they are as efficient in future operations

The one remaining cow that refused to budge off the bridge is now settling into pastures new at the abbey with it's complimentary lady of lake doorstop

Light traffic between Teignmouth and Holcombe after a rather pleasant stroll along the seawall, a lovely seafood lunch and a few beers earlier.

My arthritic 13 year old staffie is too sore to walk back after playing rockies in the sea so now on bus for the short ride back.
