Nope.

I know one or two who are though. Wouldn't mind giving it a shot next year but it'll depend on my surgery and whether the knee holds up.

You knows it
I was gonna do it but i'm not here on Sunday so am having to give it a miss. Did it a couple of years back and it was really good fun! Enjoyed it loads.

.....after recovering from turning a rather worrying colour of green/blue/brown! :barf:

My only association with the half marathon is waiting at the finishing line, then going to the Council club place on Eastgate Street with Tommy T and all the other runners, feeling as if i've achieved something..

i did it dressed as a monk, well the fun run, you can watch the video on the express and star website if you think you missed something. I got a medal, a banana, a calendar and a copy of the newsletter lie sheet, well worth the £2 entry fee.

I got a banana too....

and I didn't run. Though did go along to support. Think I might be up for the challenge next year, looked really empowering as the finish post was in site.
Big up to anyone who gave it a go.

That's the spirit!!
Just spoke to a girl in Topshop who ran it, trained for three months and did it in two hours.
