Is that the guy who has a webcam on each shoulder ?
Could be, he was in Lidl st the weekend, yellow tshirt with black utility vest thing over the top -lots of wires & walkie talkie type things attached to it, one of which was making noises like a police radio...

I've seen him a couple of times in the last week & both times he was behaving quite normaly - no kung-foo dancing at all!

Its his phone that makes the noise, for some reason its talks to him all the time , and read his messages out.

Makes me think if he needs some help or maybe not as there is no law aboutbeing different and a bit eccentric and outside what polite society deems to be normal and accepted behaviour

The comments made me think of this:

How be it no sport is left there now but for hunters of men — Bleeding Heart Yard was to be found; a place much changed in feature and in fortune, yet with some relish of ancient greatness about it. Two or three mighty stacks of chimneys, and a few large dark rooms which had escaped being walled and subdivided out of the recognition of their old proportions, gave the Yard a character. It was inhabited by poor people, who set up their rest among its faded glories, as Arabs of the desert pitch their tents among the fallen stones of the Pyramids; but there was a family sentimental feeling prevalent in the Yard, that it had a character

I know there is a chap called Anthony Taylor in Stafford that's very strange I saw him on Thur morning near jail square he was carrying some red roses I asked him who the lady was .He pointed to a memorial in jail square then he started marching up to the memorial he then saluted and then put roses down. I have seen him walking along street lines before.

Sat in the car with my little people whilst husband nipped into northern light chippy on the Stone road last night. An odd chap came storming up by the car shouting obscenities, he was clearly looking for trouble. Husband oblivious, went off to bargain booze. In a blink a second odd looking chap joined him and a rather angry loud exchange followed. Kids were unnerved but second chap retreated to a house. First chap continued to rant outside odd number 2's house. Number 1 seemed to give up after a few minutes and walked away. Suddenly odd 2 came charging out at a great speed. Stupidly and unexplainably i followed and gave them both a piece of my mind and ordered them to walk away, odd 2 apologised and went back indoors. Ood 1 still ranted to himself. Hubby reappeared and got in the car. Youngest told daddy to "hit him with the car, hes made mommy cross!" strange look from hubby and home we went.

Some of us can remember the gunfight in the street there....

Late '70s - when the Outlaws had the fortified house - mostly shotguns, nothing rifled, as far as I know.

This was the fortified house, the outer defences have been removed and the black paint has been pebble-dashed over.

Probably the first premises in Stafford to have CCTV coverage.

I would be very interested to see a picture of it in the old days.

Really?!!

For those that don't remember, it was occupied by the Outlaws motorcycle club in the '70s - heavily fortified with defensive walls, CCTV, barbed wire and painted all-over black. A rather intimidating place, though little real trouble actually happened, apart from a few shots that one evening...

yes, and there was a poor lady with a delivery from Asda trying to negotiate a good time to unload the van to the address. No sign of a motorbike or barbed wire.

My little sister, for her sins, once went out with 1 of the blokes from there. She told me, in order to get into the house, you had to go through 3 sets of doors. All with dead locks on them. She reckons that if there had been a fire, they stood sod all chance of getting out very quickly.

The Outlaws moved away at least twenty years ago, the number of bins would suggest that it is a House Of Multiple Occupation these days.

He certainly didn't strike me as a motor bike gang member. Shame really as it may have stopped odd 1 from shouting obscenities.
