No problem - just worth looking if you only have today to sort it out.sorry
Ooh, yes. Good point, well made...What are you looking for (obviously a Sunday lunch)?
As above Sun or Swan plus The Bird in Hand is a lower priced good quality carvery. The Bird usually has the weekday menu as well and if you're not too hungry the hot beef rolls are highly recommended.
The bird in hand does an ok carvery.
Radford bank does a carvery.
Swan
The sun
Possibly the vine
Either of the Wetherspoons or such like
The Radford Bank is disgusting shite. You couldn't pay me to eat in there.Radford bank, Wetherspoons are you being serious? As far as I know Wetherspoons haven't done a Sunday microwave for a good 10 years.
I can't comment on Radford Bank because I haven't bothered to return for about the same period of time due to how appalling the food, service and cleanliness were. It may have improved, things do change.
Similar with the Vine.
I always give a place two chances before making a decision and there are enough good restaurants/eateries in Stafford to avoid the need to return for several years if a bad experience occurs.
The Tap Steakhouse also do a Sunday lunch but I haven't tried in yet.

The Mill at/ near great bridgford.
Ok not Stafford or Sunday (don't shoot me) but good enough to warrant a mention, and for future reference
the swan at forton does a very good, Monday carvery that's cheap as chips!
