I just want it recorded here that I fully support Stafford Forum and have encouraged friends to join. I have used the forum in the past to promote an event.
I dont visit very often but when I have always find it interesting - details of restaurants etc and events

I am slightly annoyed that I am accused of slagging off this forum by someone called Glam - whoever he is.
I am baffled as to how you have come to this conclusion as I have not said anything against this forum on the contrary have always supported it

The only thing I am guilty of is innocently posting details of a fundraiser for local youth groups organised by members of "Stafford Remembered" the facebook group, I didnt realise it would be an issue. The post has been removed now anyway

But I agree with John I like the dig Pun anyway but I am offended by Glam's comment and would like to know how he came to this conclusion about me.


I love Stafford, Stafford People and all things Stafford
I've lived here all my life and wouldnt want to live anywhere else
Oh and I love Super Radio Stafford too

chrisem, I am sorry if you feel you have been misrepresented in any way. There seems to be a lot going on Mrs M's Facebook group, some of which is leading to people getting unfair blame. I'm sure Mrs M has nearly as hard a time moderating that group as I do looking after this place!

We're really glad to have you onboard, so please accept my apologies on behalf of anyone who you feel has got the wrong end of the stick.

I like Super Radio,it's a blooming shame you can't get it on a normal radio or in the car.

Ah, there are ways to do it! I'm sure someone more technically minded will be along shortly to tell you how.

glam, have you got an android phone? i'm sure someone earlier in this thread was talking about how they listened to the station in their car by listening to it through their phone, and plugging the phone into the audio input of their car..

of course, all that relies on a lot of things lol.. having a smartphone, having the app, having an audio input on your car, having a car, etc.

No babe,just a bog standard Nokia. Suppose I could splash out some of me overtime on 1. It's a shame because I do like the music they play,and the butcher from Hindells used do a Sunday Afternoon show on there. Big Mark he was with Dave P. I don't know db or Gramaisc,but I doooooo like them! xx

i couldn't give a shit if a couple of people who spell like teenage chavs take the piss out of the forum.. if you look at that facebook group it is literally just one or two people out of the thousand or so that are on there, and they're both clearly a bit special needs, bless them.. i'm sure the rest of the people in that group love stafford every bit as much as we do! and a lot of negative posts keep disappearing, so mrs m is obviously doing her best to minimise them, it's not fair to point the finger entirely at her..

personally, i'm pretty impressed with how super radio stafford have taken on all of the comments and criticism.. like others have said, the station's got loads better! just a shame there are a few people who don't seem able to let stuff lie and just leave the negativity out of this thread..

Weren't having a go chick,infact I praise you n yours up to loads of people,you did my mums funeral a while back and the way it was handled from start to finish was perfect. I know she would've been chuffed as little mint balls with everything.

I saw Afrika Bambaataa at the music festival in Bourges on a double-bill with Gary Clail, Clail being the headline act despite being sans the On-U sound system. They were awesome and the crowd were pumped - then Clail came on and so completely and utterly bummed the audience that they started to boo him. To be fair to the audience, he deserved it.

He was unpardonably bad and after two tunes he laid his mike down on the stage and walked off in a huff, to an escalating chorus of disapproval.

I shouted, screamed and hollered for Afrika Bambaataa to come back and everyone started to join me . It's one of those moments where you think - if they come back and fill in, the crowd will blow their stack, man, and this could be the best gig ever!

Unfortunately they must've already done one - so everybody shuffled and mumbled, discontentedly, out of the place - half a good gig though.
