Surveys on the Forum

I have seen the use of surveys on the forum and would like to do one based on "Lunch time Eating". Could someone please tell me if it is possible to create surveys via the forum and if so, how.

Open the sub-forum you want to put it in, click 'start new thread'. Scroll down and you can tick a box that says 'post a poll' and then fill in the Question and possible responses...
