T-Mobile

Does anyone out there have a contract with T-Mobile? Just at the end of my Orange Contract and thinking of a S3 with T-Mobile as the deal is better. (And although I'll try to convince Orange to match I somehow don't think they will!)

I've always had pretty good coverage with Orange (except in Gnosall) and although I know they share (or whatever) the signal / networky thingy-ma-jig, I'm loathed to sign up to a 2 year contract without a bit of local signal knowledge. (Please note the complete lack of any technical knowledge, so only answer in layman's terms!!)

Thanks muchly!!

I'm on a T-Mobile contract and have been for the last few years. I went from a 3 contract where the signal was appalling, so T-Mobile's is great in comparison, though it's in no way perfect. The customer service I've received has been great. My contract is up at the end of this month and I'm not looking to move to another provider.

Tmobile and orange merged a few years back. I believe they have also merged ther infrastructure so it shouldn't matter who you use since it is all now part of a single larger network. So in theory your coverage should be identical...

You probably want to confirm this with a tmobile / orange store though

Some very good offers on the S3 at the moment, so much so that I called T-Mobile to find out about paying off my contract early yesterday... In the end I didn't bother though, because of the ball ache of transferring my number out to a PAYG sim and then back to T-Mobile...

The contract is with mobiles.co.uk though and is £26 a month for 300 mins, unlimited texts and 750MB internet (downloads that is, browsing is unlimited)... also was 3 months free via cashback and a bit of Quidco too. Worked out about £23 a month after all that, free phone, 24 month contract....

With t-mobile, coverage is excellent for me in stafford and west brom and most points in between, like andreas was with 3 and they have lost my custom for life due to poor customer service and signal.

Ring up your current net work, choose options for "if you want to leave us"... speak to person, tell them you want to cancel your contract and leave them and want your PAC (as in pack, not P-A-C)

They will ask why you want to leave and make you offers to stay. If you really want to leave, turn them all down, get your PAC and then give it to the new network. Orange may text / post you the PAC or may give it to you over the phone, not sure how they work it.

Hope this helps.
