Thank You Bin Men!

Here's a change: a positive post.

I have been a very lucky beast this morning.
As I was coming down stairs I heard the rumble of the brown bin lorry behind my house... I had forgotten to put my bins out last night (doh)! So I rushed down the garden with the 2 bins, and damn, they had already gone past.

A minute later, I heard my bin being taken down the road. They had actually come back for mine and emptied it! I was very happy.

I owe you one, bin men! (Or should it be "Garden Waste Disposal Team"?)
Cheers

Same happened with me afew months ago with my green bin so imagine what would have happened had that not been emptied (flys, Maggots etc) but they did come back and empty mine when they came back down the street on the opposite side.
Very good people those bin men, might have to leave them some choccys out at christmas

But where do you leave them? It's not as easy as Santa... they don't come down the chimney!

A few posts under my belt
Well there was a story circulating a few years ago that a group of people left some wine out for the binmen on Parkside and the Balfour kids went round, collected it, and had a nice old knees up behind the bike sheds...
