Honestly, it's my favourite veggie burger in stafford here. I eat there waaaaaaaaaaaay too often.
At least 3 of the staff have memorised my order, always a terrible sign (for me!)

250,000th poster!
Why do burger joints insist on building monuments that cannot fit into ones gob ?

And is The Bean Encounter a better name for this site? https://www.seekingarrangement.com/what-is-an-arrangement/
They do provide you with the necessary eating irons, should you feel inclined, which is nice. (Or is that just me? )

I've only ever had the (birthdays only) breakfast burger, its delicious. ;)

*edit I do wish I hadn't clicked that link.....

Just recovering from more great food at Bean Encounter...

Nachos
Dough balls
Chorizo

Great portions, especially the nachos. They now do deep dish pizzas which we would of tried but we were in a rush (they take 30 minutes)...

The new menu is evenings, but some of the prices have gone up last week too.
/someone who spends way too much time in there.

Imported ingredients perhaps? Not been in for a while but remember he did a lot of American food, and our currency did take a pounding the other week.

That was my assumption too, given it was within 2-3 days of the referendum. Still worth it, just irksome in a particularly petty way that my usual order doesn't add up to a round number anymore :grr:

Had the ham sandwich over the weekend, lovely!

Just spotted on the Millar Sandy website that Bean Encounter is for sale / to let. If it is true then it is a real shame that another fine establishment is due (or is at risk) to close. I blame the closure of the North Walls car park :-(

I think the car park being closed would have been a factor but it's the same old story over and over again. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the Bean encounter, but these places invariably have a shelf life/window of opportunity to create interest and a strong 'user base'.

You use it or lose it! By the looks of it its gone the same way as many other establishments in Stafford.

Soon to be followed by.................????

Its been there a while, and I know they were a part of the scheme to give out parking passes to allow customers to park in the very few bays nnow available in the area. Its a sad fact that people don't walk far, it is now out of the way rather than on your way back to the car.

Enjoying a drop of red.

It's a sad state of affairs that that is the case. But it is.

Yeah, the car park closing hit their business really really hard. They had already cut back their opening hours severely, and even closing on Mondays.

It's a real shame - on the back of the Morrisons deal, they had been renovating upstairs for additional capacity and for private hire.
