Hope you got our hope you got our reminder today about the LP app
You've reminded me, wanted to ask, the pictures on the walls (more so those in Gents bog), what's happening to those when you close the Bears doors?
Left for Marston’s to admire

Bear Grill challenge
I wonder how happy they are having the Bear back in its current format
I would hope they are pretty damn pleased. The place looks 1000% better than when they first let it to the the lewis partnership who did a great job with the decor.
I've never liked the management at Banks's
For good reason

I think it's safe to say we won't be returning until they have settled down. Other half had cardboard lasagne, horrible and dry, more a flat sandwich than any expected lasagne whilst my steak and ale pie must have been fresh out of the microwave - quite cool on the outside but burning hot filling. Staff informed and made endearing noises before wandering off and doing nothing. Almost every table was reserved though so it will be interesting to see how they fare. I know its got to be hard just warming up food from wholesalers.
We went Friday, after school and there was no food as problems in kitchen. The decor is nice it was quiet when we went in. Hopefully teething problems and it will be better next time x
