    It was so sad this evening to see an old floodgate regular have no respect for the new guy at the Taphouse. He was slagging the place off in front of loads of customers & the new owner. New owner rightly so, stood up for his pub and threw him out. I find it so sad and rude that someone can do that in someone else’s pub & think it’s acceptable! Massive praise for the owner, he was calm, collected & dealt with him correctly!

    That's a shame. I loved floodgate and I wish it was still open but I've been to the taphouse a couple of times and enjoyed it.

    The Devil's Taphouse can't be blamed for the floodgate no longer being here.
