Yes it is. As my cousin steve used to say to women who caught his eye "get yer farkin' rat out". He once got thrown out of "zanzibar" as it was known then for standing at the front of the stage and shouting it repeadedly at some girl who was singing, think it might have even been that shite band steps. Its a pretty common term amongst a whole bunch of lads I know.
