So I'm really drunk okay ...

I had a great night out with a friend tonight we went to pizza express (after the demise of Pastiche)

Then to the old gun shop ( what is it called now??)

Friend ordered a gin and tonic (easy for a gin bar - £6 ouch )

I asked for a gin, lime and mint with a bit of soda (amazing drink I'd had the week before in Manchester)

Aparantly this complicated mixture cannot be done in Stafford - the bar man was really rude and defensive.

He didn't suggest any delicious alternatives just argued that my drink was unreasonable. This was the bar manager.

I implored that he should get his head outo his arse. But he.didn't listen.

    Love you all xxx

    Drunk Me xxx

Apart from that I had the best night ever xxxxxxxx

No. After all, Christmas Day is where you can have a Baileys for breakfast and no-one bats an eye.

Thought I saw you in there....

Edit: The soda was probably the issue, they have many tonics but not seen soda. Could be wrong.

Or should it be left as a warning to others?

Loving this thread, harmless fun and an honest review of the Gin Shop. Hope the hangover is not too uncomfortable.

You will be reminded of this thread for many years, it's a bit like the
photo your parents took of you naked on the fur rug when you were
a baby, and show to all your boy friends . :D

I had rubarb gin and rose lemonade in the star and garter pub w'ton road on thurday night, The gin was a double and the rose lemonade comes in a little bottle with enough for another drink. Cant' be doing with pretentious crap of 'we dont have' or ''we dont do it' surely tonic water and soda water are a mixer for most drinks. The customer is always right. Get some in if someone has asked for it, dont' argue with them at the bar however drunk they are, it's not good customer service and other customers will witness the poor customer service. Never beat your self up about being drunk its part of life.
