Blaming the staff who are capable of disabiling CCTV so they can nick a few bottles of spirits... well that seems believable!

Not yet found one open? Sutton Coldfield was cancelled in January 2016 yet its still listed on the website. If you click through the crap website you'll notice something slightly odd, all venues use the same telephone number as a contact. They also have the same non-existent menus, with an allegedly live booking system which clearly says I can book in at many of the venues I know don't exist as they have slots available.

How do I edit this?
There is a Living Room in Manchester, though it may not be associated with the same people.

They do, however, have some exciting events.

I'm not sure if you have to book.

I believe the Manchester Living Room is the last survivor of a chain of bars that were ubiquitous in the early 2000s - the Liverpool branch was around the corner from the flat @Wormella & I shared. I'm 99.9% sure it's unaffiliated.

The company behind them now owns the Alchemist chain amongst other things & are associated with (possibly started & then sold?) the Botanist chain bars that seems to be everywhere.

We shall see.

Open today, open the weekend?
It won't open , and even if it did now, it needs to recruit again, seeing as the managers are pretending they were never involved and the staff have already started looking at getting jobs in other venues.

Even if the owner did come back, they'd have to recruit again, problem is, they're gonna have a hell of a job getting staff now with all the negative rep. It definitely wouldn't open under the living room name again.

What a waste of time.

The main question here of course is where is the money? You wouldn't keep failing to open venues at the last minute unless there is a few quid in it for you, I wonder who is now liable for all the costs associated with this failed project?

He's either getting multiple loans or angel investors , the money must be going somewhere though. Apparently most of the equipment in there is rented, so how long before they start gaining access to the property n stripping assets ?

The ale kegs and the food in the kitchen will go off soon, such a waste.

N no doubt illy and coke will want their equipment back too, apparently the coffee machine there cost 4K.
