Ooh, just had the person that deleted it message me on facebook wanting to know why I posted it! Wants me to call him, he can debate publicly or not at all.

EDIT: Had a chat with him online. Will give him the benefit of the doubt, he could just be another person they are trying to con. I'll leave the link and original message here for reference, but it's possible I was hasty with my original post.

Makes you wonder how this place got it's premises licence to serve alcohol. The premises licence also demands a designated premises supervisor, who is someone with a personal licence to serve alcohol to hold that position. Be interesting to see if it does actually attempt to open, and if the local licensing officers and police want to make an inspection. Big penalties for anyone not fully licensed.

I imagine ( that is all ) that he - the alleged con man - 'hired' someone to manage the premises, from an established premises locally ( let's say another building further down the road.... ) which would have assured the authorities . Clearly if this was the case then that person , perhaps she, is now in a horrible position

Guys in high vis jackets, counted 3 vans. Saw sofas and possibly a glass washing machine leave, most furniture is stacked near the doors to be moved. Asked a guy if, as he was removing everything, it was open tonight. He confirmed, no chance.
