I’ve been passed it a few times this week, can’t say I’ve noticed it open, I have the urge now to take another look, when I go by again later today.

Always found the Princess to be quite hostile when ever I went in there......not particularly welcoming at all.

I've been in there twice - once around 1980, as a necessary stage of the Complete Quest and again in the second half of the 1990s, when food was available in the daytime.

Otherwise, its sole effect on me is having to drive round taxis parked outside, half on the footpath.

Its the closest pub to my house but never been in there. The plot of land to its rear in Victoria Terrace appears to be close to being built on. Cant recall any planning applications for the land the pub is on.
