It's just a matter of having the proper equipment available.

I won't be eating the pate there because I prefer it to be smooth .. which is just a personal choice.

Had a lovely meal here yesterday to celebrate my birthday. There were 11 of us but service was efficient, staff were friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. The staff all wished me a happy birthday and I loved the chocolate birthday message they did for me The free bottle of Prosecco was appreciated too! Also a thank you to the reception staff who looked after my flowers and presents while we ate.

It was a first visit for 9 of the 11 and they were all very impressed and said they'd be back! My Uncle was so impressed he went and surprised me with a gift voucher for afternoon tea, so looking forward to using that soon

I had the chocolates and birthday message when I dined at The Moat House. It was a nice touch and totally unexpected.

Great feedback Thank You, but disappointed that your not on our mailing list because I'd have provided a nice bottle of fizz to help you celebrate your birthday, luckily we have a year to resolve the situation!!!

Anyway once again Happy Birthday from us all at The LP, fizz or no fizz!

Off to The Swan for my belated bday meal tonight...not eaten there for over a year and am really looking forward to it! Looking at recent reviews, I'm expecting very good things. I'm quite glad that the delicious lamb dish I had last time isn't on the menu this time, as I'd have just gone for the same without considering the other lovely-sounding options. Also popping to The Floodgate for the first time! :)
