Stafford do have issue with their trees last few years, they may need to review their supplier or those that put it in place.

While it was windy there are places far more exposed and on higher ground (stoke, newcastle, leek, buxton) who have worse weather yet never have these issues

It had to replaced very early about 4/ 5years ago, was damaged the year after and not replaced just before Christmas, now this.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Was it put into position by Eileen Dover?
Groan.

It's all fixed again now though

Till the next breeze...

On a related note what's happened to the nice decorated tree on Falklands roundabout? Have most of the deccies blown away or has there been vandalism?

I don't know as theft and vandalism are 2 different things :)

Are the decs still there but not on ( that tree has had that issue a couple years back, off on off on), or are the decs there but look smashed up ( if that is even a thing with xmas lights) ? Genuine question as I haven't seen it today.

Haven't seen it turned on for a few nights now. Shame, I quite like that 1.x

There is a beautiful tree at the edge of Mill Street that doesn't get any attention (apart from Master Wearn who declared it was beautiful on our way home)

A large shredder was parked by the Market Square Christmas Tree this morning probably in shreds by now!
