Tiler and Bathroom fitter/plumber wanted.

Small bathroom .Got to the stage of; ripped all tiles off got new bath, toilet, basin here. Need someone plumbing experience to cut pipes put in service valves and connect to new stuff inc waste pipes. Need tiler to come give me quote, walls and floor. I can help, lift stuff, run to town get bits needed. Doesn't have to be all done in one day, can fit one item at time. Any recommended folk, reliable and inexpensive.?

I used parsons plumbing and heating ( they also tile )

£900 to rip out old tiles and replace with new . involved boarding and disconnect/reconnect of shower unit.

may sound expensive , but i went the cheaper route before and thats why i had to get these guys out to sort it properly.

Parsons on Baswich trading estate? I asked them twice now to come and give me a price. When I went second time they were cleaning out the shop, and too busy before, fair enough. Then someone was supposed to come last Sat morning. Just never bothered coming or calling to say they couldn't.!

Doing most stuff now with a mate who knows a little on plumbing. I can tile a bit but would like someone to come and tile my bathroom floor. It's only 3 m Sq. I did it last time but would expect someone to do a better job than me. So any tilers want a small job?

They came the next morning after I called , qoute came via email next day and work commenced exactly 1 week later ( and it only took that long to start as they had to match my previous tiles that wasnt easily sourced in the UK)

The guy doing the job even stayed till about 10pm at night as the membrane underneath the tiles took most of the day to cure.

I had marked them to do any future work I needed as they did a fantastic job so I hope your experience with them is a one off :/

Thanks mate but now it's all done.
I had bit of help with the plumbing only. I learnt the hard way on some of it I've done tiling before. Didn't enjoy it. In all took me 4 weeks. Would have took a professional about half that. I wish could have found you earlier. The whole asking for professional help from the suppliers who provided my bath, by plumbing bits, my tiles was very very disappointing. I would have gladly paid not to have been stuck in my bathroom doing that for the best summer I can remember. But all the business cards and friends given numbers of same all proved a waste of time I must of called about 8 people some for fitting some for tiling, some never replied to my messages. They must be so busy and raking it in. (I had cash to give) Just like Parsons who never bothered to even turn up after arranging. Reckon I saved a fortune, so thanks to them I'll spend the money I would have gladly given them on myself!

A nice holiday as a reward I think may be in order for yourself. It Would have taken me that long to tile as a bit of a OCD perfectionist hence why I don't tile ( as in spirt level on every tile ) But feel free to keep me in mind for any plumbing, leak detection or handyman services you may need in the future Enjoy your holiday.
