Margaret: "I'm all right duck, just got 4 frozen things from Iceland"
Elsie: "Oh yes, what did you get?"
Margaret: "I've no idea duck!!...no idea!!"

The heaving, shortly followed by the splashing, then some sobbing.
Finished with older sisters screams of disgust at the vomit dripping 6 year old. Happy days.

Little owls are mostly diurnal.

Or maybe you meant a 'tinny' owl - always thought of them as more 'woody' myself.

I just got a parking ticket :(

The sticky bit was still attached tot he window and despite being upside down the date and time could clearly be seen.

Just about to send an email and try and get it sorted, still I could do without it.

It's unlikely you'll get it overturned (you could always turn on the waterworks/defenceless female act and see if that works I suppose) as you have in fact committed an offence.

After all, we can't expect Civil Enforcement Wombles to have to turn their heads/exercise common sense/behave in any way like a human now can we?

I've sent the email and included a photo of the tickets position to the sticky bit that it had been attached to and a photo that has come out quite well showing that it was still able to be read, also a photo of the actual ticket showing that I had a valid ticket for the time period in question.

It's done now, even if they say no, at least I tried.

Just had a lovely letter through the post saying that the penalty charge will be cancelled.
