Today I saw...

Gramaisc

Forum O. G.
... this exotic hairdressing establishment.

I know just how much people on here like to look their best and, although I have no direct experience of his work, I do feel sure that he would satisfy your needs anywhere from "ordinary and decent" all the way up to "absolutely fabulous smart".

Please report back, if you do try him.

Can't say I'm going for it … :heyhey: Had an operation on my bean on June 3rd 2017 which meant getting my head shaved. Not had a haircut since, and no plans to.

Going back to the 70's. :buddy:

Let's see, a dance academy, BJ's tackle, hot and cold, sunbeds and strictly nails. It sounds like one of those X pictures I used to watch at the Sandonia long ago. (Well under the age of 16, but apparently, the school uniform wasn't a giveaway !!):rolleyes:

I saw a squirrel on our lawn for the first time ever. We've had sparrowhawks a few times, but never squirrels.

Should I be worried? In the words of Bradley Walsh "Squirrels? They're just rats with good PR."

Some years back my uncle Alan Clay (used to work at St Georges long ago) lived in Tividale with a wood at the back of the garden. He took to putting a few nuts out for the squirrels, and eventually he could get them to come right up to him for a feed. It goes without saying he named them all 'Cyril.' (To avoid confusion.)

The living room faced out to the back, and Cyril the Squirrel got so cheeky he would actually get onto the window sill and tap the window to get his grub. I was amazed when I first saw it, and Alan got up straight away to go out and feed him. It was clear to see who called the tune in that house. :buddy:

When some of us from Gec measurements worked in the 'Old Hough' for ages , a big old house surrounded by trees in the grounds just down from The Hew Hough , (and an air raid shelter....we had great fun there!) , we had a squirrel who used to come and sit on the windowsill and tap on the window daily to be fed bits of our sandwiches.

Worried about him/her when we were no longer there , and the house demolished soon after we went back to Measurements .

(We also had a massive blackbird stuck behind the fireplace one afternoon, in the room we used as a kitchen down the back of the house. Always spooky going down there anyway, especially when working overtime at night, and thought there was a ghost when I was making the cuppas and heard tapping noises :mystery:. Luckily one of the brave male programmers came and made a hole for it to escape and eventually fly out. :D )
