How wonderful, they put their coat on her/him <3... this rather cheering news story.
A dog, who had been missing for two weeks, was discovered by two hikers, near the summit of a 3,000 foot mountain - cold, starving and exhausted.

Carried down the mountain, fed, warmed and the owners contacted.
Fair cheered me up.

I'll confess to not looking at it on Twitter, in case anybody feels it necessary to point out that they were clearly outside their 5km radius.I may have had a little weep at the video this morning.

Absolutely correct.I shouldn't say it but I will, it doesn't matter, they're Dr's, on their own on a mountain, and they rescued elderly doggo. No members of the public were hurt during this adventure.
I suspect it was yesterday, although I've been out for a walk on both days and it was pretty bloody sharp down here - yesterday was worse.Looking at some of the photos on Google Earth those mountains remind me a bit of the Cairngorms. Rounded plateau like tops, which lends itself to strong winds. I bet it's bloody cold up there today ....
I'm glad I haven't seen them. The Twitter responses were awful, as you could expect.
Piss off.
Oh it's my turn for the 'humiliation' from the most intellectual and superior forum crack addict, before he cowers back into the darkness of his own misery, is it.... a Member telling me to...
In reply to me re-using - verbatim - a direct quote from them, aimed at me.
Unfortunately i am not equipped with such a rapier wit as his to reply with such brio.
Lol. He's just a petit fonctionnaire with deep seated inadequacy, desperate to prove he's so much more behind his cloak of, supposed, anonymity. At least he did it in public, I got what I can only assume was supposed to be a 'I'm more clever than you' DM.
Well that's an unfortunate reading of it - you went a bit ad hominem and i was stung by it because, for what it's worth, your voice is one of those in this place that i value. At least he did it in public, I got what I can only assume was supposed to be a 'I'm more clever than you' DM.
What an extraordinary set of assumptions you make.
