A dog, who had been missing for two weeks, was discovered by two hikers, near the summit of a 3,000 foot mountain - cold, starving and exhausted.

I think we can let them off given what they did.
I doubt social distancing was much of a problem up there.That mountain Lugnaquillia is the only Munro in Ireland I have haven't done .. and I doubt I'll ever do it now. Naoise has got one up on me ...

I shouldn't say it but I will, it doesn't matter, they're Dr's, on their own on a mountain, and they rescued elderly doggo. No members of the public were hurt during this adventure.

I suspect it was yesterday, although I've been out for a walk on both days and it was pretty bloody sharp down here - yesterday was worse.Looking at some of the photos on Google Earth those mountains remind me a bit of the Cairngorms. Rounded plateau like tops, which lends itself to strong winds. I bet it's bloody cold up there today ....
