I guess I could buy a couple of forklift gravel bags from Wickes / B&Q and load up my car. Depending on how much you've got to shift tek? I could do a few journeys.It'll still probably work out cheaper.

Cheers Trumpet. I spoke to my Dad earlier and he said he's got loads but I will definitely bear that in mind if he suddenly loses them.

I've just dug out a post (and broken bricks) from the front garden and it's left a bit of hole and was wondering if anybody had about 4 x 25l bags' worth going spare? (25l bags I'm guessing are your usual compost bags.) The quality doesn't matter that much as I'm going to put a fence over the top. Cheers.

Damn, I got rid of a skip full! There is still more to go, the problem though is that it's still top soil. Like, on the top of my garden, I need to lower the whole thing by a few inches yet.

You're welcome to dig some up, but may prefer to wait for an easier option from someone else!

Well I picked up some top soil from FB, so am not in need of any more, but thanks tek. However, if anybody wants any, just go to FB Market Place and enter soil and one of the first returns will be the one I got mine from. I can vouch that it's good quality stuff with hardly any other material other than soil - and, he's got about 6 tonnes of it to shift!
