Anybody on here had recent experience of fitting a Towbar? DIY or professional fitting? Approx Cost? I am thinking of having one solely for a bicycle mount, so dont really even need electrics.
Cheers

I went to County Tyres for a quote last year they told me they no longer fit them. I used an online company who fit at your home. Massively beat all quotes locally. PM me if you would like there details....

Carabatic correct as plod will pull you if lights obscured so a trailer board and number plate may be needed. Good road sense too.....

Thank you all for yr replies. I have been online a fair bit & have now decided to purchase the towbar and either fit it myself or negotiate with my garage to fit it on next service. The best fit-it-at-your-home service was priced at £246. As I can buy a name-brand towbar from a reputable trader for less than £100 that leaves me with lots of scope for paying my garage a fair price for fitting and still come out ahead of the game. I have also taken on board the comments re electric.
