My friend Chyrell who is the landlady @ Joxer's is doing a charity run on Sunday 28th October to raise money for Sheffield Children's Hospital. Along with a team of others she will be running a total of 136.6 miles, which is the distance from Joxer's to the hospital.

They're not actually running to the hospital...it's all being done on treadmills. The problem is that she's having a few problems getting enough treadmills for the day.

Does anyone here have a treadmill that they would be willing to lend, or know anyone who might? She can collect & return in Stafford.

Thanks! :)

Have you tried approaching a local gym? Get the local rags to come and take photos/write a story about it and they could get a bit of free publicity out of it.

Just a thought.

She's tried already and none of them got back to her!

Sheffield's never that far away..?

Perhaps there's a treadmill with a sat-nav...

I was going to do it along the roads but then i would have needed a driver and the runners would have had to run in pairs for safety reasons, which means i would have needed twice the amount of people running as it it 136 miles there and back.
