anyone been watching this? the first season has just finished on FX, but i think it's just started from the beginning on ch4.. good shit, imo.. it's funny seeing vinny from home & away playing a buff redneck, for a start!

I was very underwhelmed by it, especially after all the hype it received (being as good as The Wire etc.).

I can't stand the main vampire, he's a ridiculous looking person, and either a bad actor or someone lumbered with cheesy script-points.

It grew on me a bit towards the end of the series.
