Years ago I (Rob Halden) went to see some Edinburgh Previews at The Surgery in Stafford. I'd never heard of the two comedians on the bill, and I'd never seen a preview of an Edinburgh Show before. For the price of £8 I got to see John Bishop and Jason Manford back-to-back in my hometown. It's in that spirit that JUICE presents the following show.

The first of our Preview Shows will bring Michael J. Dolan’s new show “Nothing Will Ever Be Alright Again” to the stage. Michael’s contemplative, hate-filled comedy has earned him accolades and praise. His 2012 show “Dress To Depress” garnered numerous 4 Star Reviews at last year’s Edinburgh Festival, and was singled-out by Sarah Millican who said “One of my fave shows is Michael J. Dolan. Grumpiness has never been smart and funny.”

Also on the May show with Michael will be Tony Jameson’s “Football Manager Ruined My Life”. Tony is an accomplished and talented comic from Newcastle, who regularly performs for major comedy clubs such as The Frog & Bucket, Comedy Central and The Stand. Tony also did a star-turn for JUICE Comedy last year at The Gatehouse Theatre. Tony’s obsession with computer game Football Manager has led him to ruin, and that ruin is at the heart of his hilarious new show.

Both these Preview shows will be presented back-to-back live at Number 15 for just £5!

Tickets are available NOW from Number 15, or contact Rob Halden

Here's an old photo from The Surgery showing the last time Stafford had Edinburgh Preview Shows. Two of the very best comics of their day performing back-to-back in the County Town. This is what JUICE is trying to recreate on the 14th - don't miss out on seeing the big stars of tomorrow right here and now in the heart of Stafford!

Does Number 15 have a website? All I can find is a very old facebook page, was hoping to find a menu.

I blame the IT Department.

Today happened to be the day the Techies did something to the JUICE site called a "migration" or something or other, so it was down for a couple of hours.

There won't be kitchen food available at the show, but they do have crisps and some rather nice chocolate things for sale.

And yes, tickets are still available, either from Number 15 or by e-mailing us and setting up a clandestine exchange.

Tickets are still available for tonight, and it looks like tickets will be available on the door, HOWEVER spaces are limited so it'd be a good idea to get in touch and reserve yours!

I was similar. Whilst not hating football, I only have an outsider's working knowledge of it, but his show didn't go completely over my head. If anything, I advised him, it needs more stories about the football game. That obsessive-geekiness is the really funny part of his show.
