Managed to find the Craft Market today, went in and had a good look round. Was going to get a Cup of Tea and one of Em L's Bacon Baps but there was no one in the Kitchen? Where were you Em L?

I did pop out a couple of times during the day but did mention to the stallholders to tell anyone I'd only be a minute! Really sorry to have missed you though camsnam. For future reference, I'm the one in the purple Cake pinny usually wafting around with teacakes and the like! I hope you decide to come back - and if you do let me know who you are :) It's been lovely to meet forumites through this.

Tek - remember us next week, I'll be more than willing to serve you some tasty tasty murder on a classy paper plate ;)

Gramaisc - glad it was up to previous standards, and pen chap is very good isn't he...I've bought four off him myself!

Yes will definitely be back Em L, won't miss you in your purple pinny! Will come and say 'hello' should be around next week, may have Grandchildren in tow as they are on School Holiday next week, mind you the older two who are 12 and 13 won't be seen dead in town with their Nan these days, not cool to be seen in town with your Grandmother!

Well, a lot of new faces seemed to be attracted today - possibly by the poor unfortunate woman that drew the short straw for the outdoor pitch..

Tek-monkey attended to scrutinise the bacon - luckily, he was adequately chaperoned by a tek-monkette..

Gramaisc - believe it or not she actually requested that outside pitch! It's been a fab day today, 5 forumites popped in that i know of, was lovely to see you all :)

After a lovely break to get over the mad Christmas run up, we're opening again a week tomorrow! We've got regular stallholders returning and plenty of new ones so definitely worth a look in to see what we got. Would be lovely to see some forumites there, got to know a fair few of you from last year :)

Don't forget the bacon butties either..!

Does anyone sell books?

I came on Tues to see you but now realise I was a week early.

I would like to have a "now and again" stall but not every week.

I've seen children's books there in the past.

Call it a reconnaissance mission..

I'm certainly interested in the possibility of books there...

Hi Carole, sorry I missed this post. We do have someone who sells books there quite regularly but that shouldn't be a problem if you're only interested in a "now and then" stall. We did also have a lady selling childrens books occasionally. What kind of books do you sell? If you definitely want to book a stall could you email us on staffordcraftandvintage@hotmail.co.uk - I get phone notifications off that, and I don't off here and could miss a post!

Thanks :)

You could click 'Watch Thread' - top right above the top post on each page - I believe that that will then prompt you, somehow, when there has been some action....
