I am so up for this :D

Hopefully there will be a vegetarian option (other than "yeah, you can **** off!") for my heathen other half.

i assume the last one on the flyer is veggie, at least - "homemade leek, cheddar and mustard sausages, creamed mashed potato, vegetable gravy"

despite not being a hippy myself, i have to admit that this is one of the ones i am most looking forward to! sounds well nice

Well...this was bloody fantastic! Great food and lovely beers.

The best match for me was the first one. The Stone Brood was delicious and the sausage/mash/gravy combo was splendid, and they complemented each other very well.

There was a load more food than I could usually manage in one sitting. We were expecting a tapas-style amount at best, but most of the dishes could have passed for light mains. The talk from Mr Lymestone Brewery was very interesting too, and really gave a sense of local-peeps-done-good.

I'm still quite astonished that the whole night was £12. I'd have happily paid double for what I got, and I didn't even finish it all.

Hope we see you at our Jennings Tasting, not quite so local, but it is one of Marston's Breweries and it's fantastic what they have done in Cockermouth especially after the floods a few years ago. We'll just have to see if we can do as well as Brad.

this was an excellent evening, really enjoyed it! I thought the portions were just right - I was absolutely stuffed by the end..

The chorizo tagliatelle was amazing  I would have preferred it with a nice, bold red wine, but I realise that wasn't the order of the day (night?) so I'll let you off :P

More of this sort of thing, please! :D
